Elite Hunts......! wth!
Got there in time, there were like 50 people there waiting...someone pulls, the boss died in 3-4 seconds, no kidding, I was playing BRD and had only time to Straight Shot + Heavy Shot + bloodletter, I was in a party of 5. Got three Seals.
Wth...
And no...before you say "it's the firzt day guyz", there is NO other way to realistically amass a reasonable amount of allied seals (unless you want to spend 3 months with your daily hunts for 1 sands of time???) which happen to be extremely valuable due to the fact they can be exchanged for very juicy stuff, so this situation isn't going to change, if something, it's gonna get worse once people know where stuff spawns and things gonna get camped. Not sure what's up with the white knights that keep saying "it's first time guys give it a few weeks!".

I think every "naysayer" in every hunt thread prior to the patch anticipated this and warned against it. Unless NMs take more strategy and have more HP than Elder Primals (which seems dumb, from a lore perspective), this is what everyone asked for.

Right now, Linkshells are your only way. Get into two or three LSs DEDICATED to Hunts and if you get a good LS or 2, you can get 250 Seals a day (I got 2 Blood Stained Mark Logs). Virtually get one Sands every 3 days.

I've already worked out 3 spawn spots for one of the elite marks so plan on camping all 3 just so I can guarantee at least a hit if it ever does spawn. These past two days I've been riding around the areas on horseback, only to be on the other side of the map when it does spawn, and completely missing it. I'm in two hunt linkshells, usually in a party, but people do not wait for others to catch up and just run in and grab the kill. This is understandable, but when there's about 50+ on one map, waiting for the same mark, you'd think people would actually think, hey, I'll not be an a**whole and wait. I know this is going to go on until it dies down but it is a tad bit frustrating. I did find it fun at first because there was the uncertainty of when it'd spawn, but now it's just getting a little bit tedious :P

Depends on what time you go. Early EU daytime, is quite few ppl. usually just a party or 2 at a Mark.
Also it's not possible to camp them, since they can spawn anywhere. You can have a party spread out, and cover more ground, though.
The only thing they need to do, is scale the HP of mobs, as with fates; So they get more HP, the more ppl are doing it. That way these marks will take maybe a min to kill, instead of 3 seconds.
