4 man Dungeon Loot

I have really been enjoying the 4 man dungeons in the past few patches, but can we get rid of this early crafting materials showing up 90% of the time? I'm slaying dragons, krakens and undead monstrosities and I'm being rewarded with filtered water and animal fat =(

My FC got hundreds of these from the last patch, and now I have to basically vendor them just to make space.

With that, I do like how the new dungeon armor sets look, but I feel like I'll have to be really lucky to see them drop.

I agree. Less crafting mats and more armor please. I would like to be able to collect at least one set before the next patch comes out and renders these dungeons obsolete.

I'm so tired of beating the big bad boss to see filtered water drop. It's insulting. It's 2.3 and I still have never even seen certain pieces of the i70 gear added in 2.2. They've made this gear too rare. Even if I was a new player there is no way this gear would even be useful to me since I'd gear up on the old myth gear and soldiery gear long before I could ever hope to see this loot. Is the sole purpose of the loot to be GC point infusions and vanity? It should drop often enough so that new people could at least reasonably use it if they were new.

They should tone it down at least. The market is full of them and the prices are way down. At least if they're a bit rare a player wouldn't be pissed off to see crafting mats drop knowing he can get 30k gil for it afterwards.

Me and a few friends were doing multiple runs to get the gear for glamour (most of it looks amazing lol) but it's no fun when every single chest in the dungeon is crafting mats. Seriously, two of those runs, every single chest was a crafting mat and no one wanted them. Then a few of the other runs it seems only 1-2 pieces of gear dropped and the rest was craft crap :/ If they want to have this stuff in a dungeon, put it in the side chests, you know, the ones that give potions or ethers, slap those crafting mats in there, not from the bosses. The percent on the mats seems way higher in these dungeons than they were in 2.2's

I agree with the OP.

I don't mind having crafting mats drop from chests. I do object when it seems like 3/4 chests in every dungeon I run are crafting mats.

Mats should be having a chance to drop from the multitude of x-potion/x-ether/hi-elixir chests that seem to be all over the place in these dungeons.

Bosses should be dropping equipment, period.

Every boss should drop 2 loots.

One piece of gear, one crafting material.

While we are at it, not only one piece of crafting material, since you need at least 9 pieces of most of them for them to have any real use for crafters >__>
