Surprising Fun with THM

So since I started the game, I always and only wanted to be a Summoner. I liked the way the class played, the Egis, everything. Of course to unlock the class, I had to level THM a bit after I had leveled Arcanist over 4 months ago. I couldn't have had LESS fun with THM. It seemed so boring and for the life of me I couldn't understand the concept of the Fire and Ice buffs. So 2 months ago when I learned I HAD to get the class to at least level 26 to get Swiftcast for my SMN, I was none too pleased with the prospect.
However, after doing some research on this site, and actually throwing my THM into a dungeon instead of just doing random Leves to level, something surprising happened: I was really enjoying the class! I started at level 16 last night at 5pm, and by 11pm, I was level 22 (this is because I've been on hiatus for 2 months and was VERY well rested). During this time I have grown to really appreciate the class. It IS a little mindless, but that's not really a bad thing. Now I find myself looking forward to trying out BLM in the future :)
