Daily Grind: Forward into Front lines.

As with the other daily grinds: This thread is for general discussion.

So it's finally here. And it's fun O.o. Ranking up is faster then ever.

They improved wolves den, the item level cap for wolves den is great :) and challenges got a huge boost for PvP.

The PvP forums are littered with new names.

And Gor won't stop making demands

So, what does every think about the state of wolves Den and front lines?

I think the queue system is ruining Frontlines, as its almost impossible to get in there.

I am not sure if it's the players or the actual system though. I've noticed a few times when I have accepted the queue, I get an error saying that I have encountered a problem and need to try again in a moment.

I think it might be down to a bug or possibly too many people accepting the queue at once, as I have noticed that it only generally happens if I accept as soon as it pops.. It could just possibly be loads of people leaving. That being said I have managed to play a lot of Frontlines (and by a lot, I only mean 11 games). I must be fortunate cause I rarely see the dreaded 71/72 problem, and when I have seen it, it did feel like the timer went rather than someone trolling and leaving the queue (I might have been one of them as I was stuck in a Hildebrand cutscene and I refuse to skip them because I get my daily giggles from them).


I haven't actually tried the new ilvl sync PvP- but I absolute adore Frontlines and my viewers on Twitch seem to as well.

Yeah I feel a lot of the ready up issues have to do with "New Content Overload".

The PvE crowd sees a 10 min que, starts a quest line, gets stuck in a 5 min cut scene, ques get missed. I'm choosing to not overreact to the ready up issue so far though.

How is everyone looking on Kills/Surviving/Tactics. I came into my own yesterday on being able to direct all three teams from the adder perspective. Had 3 groups between 5-8 people going for each nation in my shell, and picked up a bunch of new link shell members for team siren.

front lines is probably the first time i've really enjoyed myself since the game came out. Honestly restored my faith in pvp 100%. I just hope that enough people stay interested that 4 months from now your not waiting in 3 hour que to get in

and here I was thinking that I was the only one who noticed!

Yeah lol, it nice to see Gor is getting into PvP. Just not sure how his battle of perception is panning out after reading his 10th post demanding changes to things he is just coming in contact with lol.

Another topic to jump into:

Which classes are best for scouting/Defending/Capping/Monsters.

So far I feel like:
Scouting: PLD, SCH, SMN, WHM
Defending: Tanks/Healers and DPS join in later.
Capping: Need all classes, tanks excel at this.
Attacking players/monsters: DPS, but need proper support.
