Private Room Question

When i go to my FC house to buy a room, its telling me that i need to be second lieutenant in my grand company. I went to the Maelstrom guy that gives promotions and he told me to go talk to the commander for a trial. She gives me this quest line that leads into beast man daily quest. Is there another way to get second lieutenant rank with out doing daily beast man quest, or am I missing something?

There should be someone inside the HQ, with a quest for you to do.

Not the guy standing outside (beastman).

I have an unrelated question:

Is there any furniture you can obtain - purchased, crafted, quested, or otherwise - that will allow you to put a summoning bell and/or armoire in your room to access your stored items?

There are two folks standing next to each other. One's the quartermaster, and the other (on the left) is the personnel officer. That's how you level up. Prepare to pay a lot of company seals. You buy your way up through the ranks.

also do note that the housing vendor is way cheaper then people selling at the mb.
Prices have exploded for furniture now, so which i would of held onto the furniture my retainers brought me

Whether it's by design or accident, seems my retainers are bringing a lot more housing stuff.
