Chocobo Raising: Gardening and Cleaning issue

Edit: Woops didn't realize you could purchase the food as is. Still for growing other types of food I guess it puts you at a disadvantage either way.

So in case anyone hasn't noticed, you need to basically
1. Grow chocobo food
2. Grow plants to crossbreed to create brooms to clean chocobo stables

A small house can only have 1 gardening plot. So basically now I'm afraid to do any chocobo raising because I have yet to crossbreed any broombrush (thankfully I have glazenuts at least) and because I can't actually grow any food for my bird :(

I'd like to request adjustment of either the amount of stable cleaning brooms we get (at the moment it's only 20) or make its a "permanent" one time item so that we can at least spend time growing food for the chocobos instead of spending 2 weeks crossbreeding things to make a cleaning item.

Very disappointed that I feel I have to wait another 2 weeks before I can actually do any chocobo raising due to lack of space to grow food.(´・ω・`)

Our garden if pretty much empty (we are 6 members ;) ) So I think we'll be ok with that Chocobo fun!

Glad to hear, I guess I'll be working on the brooms in the meantime then XD

Once I got into the game longer I noticed this as well. I was only able to raise my chocobo with the few krakka roots I got from doing the initial quest.
I'm still growing broombrush in my garden, so yea still need to wait weeks for this. This kinda stinks. Once I run out of krakka root I'll probably just take my chocobo out and never bother for a while :/

Ya our FC has halted all chocobo raising due to the not having the broom yet to clean stables.
Is sad they add a possible great feature then lock it behind a tiny amount of plots available for gardening.
Time to release my choco back in to the wild and let it roam free, till I need to queue for something

Try 2.6 seems our server is more greedy lol
I just wish a vendor sold even some sort of basic broom and basic no perk increase food
