The entire quest line for the Rise and Fall of Genteleman / Manderville Man is amazing. It is by far the best aspect of the game to me. Whoever was the team behind writing it deserves a round of applause.
As a Westerner, it captures the quirky humor I have always loved from Japan since I was a kid. Not only that, but without any spoilers, the quest line genuinely threw me for a loop as all my assumptions were incorrect.

I still remember doing the Hild's questline back in 1.0.
Kinda feel like it is out of place in the FFXIV world. Now in 2.0 still feel the same. But can't deny it is funny. -

I am sure nearly all FF games are like this. Having the Manderville Quest kind of break into the dreary, sad tone FF14 has makes FF14 feel more like a good FF game than if it didn't have the comedy shtick.Quote:
