A system error has occurred: 8.

That's the entire error meessage that i gives me. I've been helping a buddy of mine install the game for the first time and so far I've been met with problems at every turn, this being the latest one. I think I've spent about 7 hours so far trying to make it work.

This message appears whenever I go to start the launcher for the first time. I still am right-clicking to run as admin, the first pop-up box does its thing then the launcher opens. About two seconds later the error message appears and then closes the launcher after you click OK. This is a fresh install, and I've tried about 5 or 6 of them so far. The game will not update because it won't even get that far.

Any help or thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
