Is it possible to play on PS3 without crossbar?

Hello! The title says it all. I've been playing on PC for months, but constantly getting bad framerate and such due to old processor.

Would it be possible to get rid of the cross bars and just go with normal horizontal bars for PS3?

As far as I understand, the PS3 version does not support using the keyboard for play, only for chat.

sorry to tell ps3 only has the hotbar, no horizontal or vertical bars, but ps4 has, imo u may consider to get a ps4, no regret for sure^^

That's not entirely true. You can use the keyboard on PS3 for keyboard shortcuts. (Just turn off the "direct chat" option it has set by default.) And those keyboard shortcuts are configurable. The hotbars themselves, however, are restricted to the cross-hotbars.

On PS4 you get the option of using either cross-hotbars or the straight PC-style hotbars. (I think it's even possible to have both available at the same time, though I'm not certain on that. I haven't tried it.)
