But is there anyway some people that have a character on Gilgamesh and aren't playing said character could maybe delete them or something? I really would like to play with a friend of mine and I'm struggling to make a new me on the realm :confused:

All I can say is keep pressing that refresh button till it lets you in, that's all you can do.
wouldn't solve anything as it doesn't count the amount of characters but of characters online at the moment.

Your best bet is to do it off peak (i.e. any time not in the 5PM-Midnight bracket).
so the server periodically checks to see where it will be available to make new chars, so its not updated instantly. for example if i deleted a char off gilgamesh it wont show open space until a few hours from now.
