Help me with leveling and map recommendations

Hello all!

Let me start with saying that I am in love with the game.
I used to hate it because of my beta experience, yet I still feel a little annoyed sometimes but it will go away.

My concern is that I don't know which map is good for me to train in. I don't see any map recommendations anywhere nor do I see the level requirement for the map.
Sometimes I travel all the way down to a place to experience that my level is barely high enough.

Also, I have a level 17 archer, but I rather level my conjurer to 50 first.
So I took my second class and started leveling with FATE's and quests.
Now I can't find any quest suited for my level, so what do I do now?

I can't find any quests and I don't know where to go, I feel lost.

Did you try running dungeons repeatedly? Also, pick up the challenge log if you haven't (lv15ish quest by the Leve counter in Limsa). If you're in Limsa, the lv17ish FATEs would be in Western La Noscea. I would also suggest doing your hunting log, if you aren't. The duty roulette daily is also an excellent chunk of exp.

Quests are, for the most part, one-time-only things, so if you already did them on some other class, future classes will just have to grind dungeons/FATEs.

Hello. You will find the game to be quite different from the 1.0 beta. The story quests should take you to the appropriate zones. At Lv.17, you should be running quests and FATEs in the East Shroud area and prepping for Tamtara or Copperbell.

Also, feel free to also use guildhests. You will get the first-completion bonus for each class when you complete them. It is likely you forgot to talk to the flame honor guard in Ul'dah during the Gridanian Envoy quest. Consider backtracking there first to unlock the next story quest segment.
