Your Summoner macro setup on a ps 4?

I don't think I have good macro setup. So I was wondering if any of you can show me your setups so I can see where I could do better. I play on a ps 4 and i,m lvl 50.

One other thing its hard trying to manage my garuda pet while trying to keep all my dots up. On a pc this might be easy, but on a ps 4 its stressful at times.

So any ideas would be great. :)

Put obey and contagion on your bar, and place and heel on a different bar.
Garuda doesn't take much managing, might wanna macro aerial slash with bane.
Macros for entire combos are a huge dps loss, and garuda only needs to be told to contagion every minute and re position in some battles.

With that Hold LT + RT and RT + LT thing Summoners on controller shouldn't have a need for macros (unless they're strictly for utility skills such as E4E, Virus, Rouse, etc)

only macros i use is one that clumps virus and eye for an eye together so they can be casted simultaneously with it showing the /recast timer on E4E and the /micon for virus. Other than that a swiftrez macro and a macro on my bio II that just shows me the recast for raging strikes. (so that way i can plan dot rotation accordingly)

You really shouldn't need many macros, other than Swiftrez and maybe macroing some pet actions into your own actions (Bane+Aerial Slash). Aside from stuff like that, DoT macros = sub-optimal SMN. Even on a PS4 (I play on PS3), it all becomes second nature once you find a comfortable place to hotbar your commands.

there are people that do this. they do not play the job to the best of its ability.

I dont macro my dots at all. From what you all said I am already doing things right. :)

I macro the two pet buffs together since if both are not ready the other will just cast. As for the RT+Lt and LT+RT I find myself still needing to hit R1 to switch to pet bar to adjust stay and obey... I find those two buttons on my normal bar to needed atm for those skills.. I will look into macroing into Bane though like above poster said since right now it does have its own spot.

Also since we are talking about summoners in here... I know Miasma2 is used with multiple targets but when doing AoE's is blizzard or tri better for damage? People have told me tri is better but only 2 benefits is range and unaspected dmg..
