Am i the only one who knew about GC Frontline restriction?

I have no clue why people are so shocked that frontlines will be GC restricted. Before 2.1 when they released a small amount of information, it was pretty apparent that frontlines would be GC vs GC vs GC. I have told my Free Company for months now to make sure you pvp in the same Grand Company. Did anybody actually read the information that was posted many many months ago? I have played realm vs realm in a lot of MMOs so maybe it's just me.

We all knew it was going to be GC vs GC vs GC, but designing a system where we can't play with our friends because of their GC affiliation is just dumb

Simply changing GC is not the answer as it resets your pvp rank, why should we get penalised for wanting to play with our friends simply because we played pvp in the past? It's just bad design

That's the thing, it was pretty blatant that it would strictly be gc vs gc vs gc. Yeah it's dumb you can't play with friends, but that's how factions work. Each faction will be fighting over this disputed land, why would they allow you to join with other factions. Frontlines is supposed to have a war type setting.

It wasn't so much that people weren't aware it was being said, but I guess people didn't believe SE would follow thru on such a bad decision. More wishful thinking than anything else, really.

It wasn't "pretty blatant" that it would be restricted to GC for grouping. When you force lore on PVP, you're setting up your customers for a shitty experience.

LOL, you make a thread with a response addressing the community with information that has been out there. It's a horrible design for a casual game & you know it; don't deny it.

In addition you act like this community knows how to read properly; 60% can barely kill Titan EM lol.

Nonetheless SE knows it's a bad design due to bad publicity & I can see it being altered soon due to a week after 2.3 with que's being garbage.

Not the only one. I've known about this for roughly the same amount of time. Hell, even if a person didn't read about that, it's pretty clear just looking at how they divide PvP actions that it would be tied to your GC.
