FFXIV fails to check updater/launcher version

Anyone get this problem today randomly and know how to fix it?

Unable to complete version check.

Restart Router/Internet connection

Not just disconnect, power off then on

I've made it past that step and uninstall/reinstall of the game.

You don't need to do that though ..... that not neccessary really

Its just connection problems
