I second this, I love the female outfit and would love that for my Highlander.

Hrm... the Puritan look. I like it. Though I don't know how likely it is to be released.

Greetings! I support your plea, and have indeed opened a wishlist thread for town gear a while ago that I invite you to follow.

I try to keep it updated with new models I find around town, but I would love to receive input from other players as well!

Yeah, the clothes are unique to NPCs, as well as several other outfits that are worn only by NPCs like those worn by random NPCs in Ul'dah. Limsa Lominsa doesn't seem to have any unique NPC attire to the area, but the womens clothes picture in this post prior is seen alot... on the strumpets.

I noticed that a lot of female NPCs are wearing spring skirt with different tops which makes them look like different dresses.

The shirts are the tricky part here as I don't think there is anything close to them in game. For the male though you could try using the battlemage pants and shoes and the female could use the spring skirt and hat. Boots may also be harder for the female :3
