idea for desynthesis...

I know those who played FFXI and some who are even new have asked multiple times. Can I breakdown clusters to crystals? Crystals to shards? This could easily be implemented into the new desynthesis action. Although the exact amount received sHould be based on points adjusted to what ever class u use. Cause we all know each crafting class requires a dominant Crystal for crafting. Like how gsm predominantly used wind, wvr uses lightning...etc. those classes would get those crystals/clusters as a desyn ability. So gsm can desynth wind clusters and so on. And the higher the desynth skull for gsm the more u get in return. Just a idea and keeps it under control imo. Since u can only master 3.

I think that's something a lot of people would like, but would also take away a lot of the value of the different items and so wouldn't be done.

I actually am a little bit in a odd mode of thinking right now after reading that you could desynth fish, so I'm kinda wondering if we'll be able to get shards from fish along with whatever else. So that might make things a bit easier with crafting maybe?
