Unless there is something I'm missing, when I zoom in on the character preview box I'm only able to zoom in to the crotch area. I cannot zoom in and then check out the feet or upper body.

Leftclick+drag, rightclick+drag.
If gamepad, dunno.
For gamepad, one of the left shoulderbtuttons and up and down .. same as in character creation screen
