"Target Not in Range"

Not sure if a latency issue or something else...

but after the psn maint this week (i play on ps4), no matter how close i am to the target mob, most times it will spam an error saying "target not in range".

everything else is happening around me at normal time, and i can run around spamming scathe or aero till it hits. I can be standing next to and/or in its hit box and it will say it. i can sit next to a blm t the same range and it will say i. my fc mates never see the icon next to my name change indicating dc or anything.

Is anyone else having this issue? or am i just suddenly experiencing latency issues out of nowhere?

this has never happened and it is getting harder to manage as it makes me die doing treasure maps because i cannot fight back

make sure you are facing the target. IDK if they ever changed it, but it used to sometimes give that message instead of "unable to see target". There's an option you can toggle somewhere in the config so you always face a target when casting.
