Returning Player

So i have decided to come back to this world after leaving shortly after launch. Especially after eso and wildstar not being quite what i had wished for i feel coming back is probably best as this seems to have everything they didn't now.

I have a healer (40s scholar and 30s whitemage) and was wondering both if these were still in demand enough to come back too or if i should level up a different job and was wondering if there are any guilds on gilgamesh that are returning / new player friendly.

I am willing to get on vent/mumble/ts and have a fairly open window for playing. Just looking for a group that wouldn't mind taking a new (hopefully get there in a day or two) under their wings.

Healers will always be needed, so don't worry about not finding your healing services required and greatly appreciated by tanks like me. :D In the 2.1 patch an addition to the Duty Finder called 'Duty Roulette' gives bonuses for undertaking a dungeon randomly selected by the DF depending on the least popular class role that is seeking - this is usually either a tank or a healer, so there is definitely incentive for sticking with SCH or WHM. ;)

As for your FC question, sadly I play on a different server, but a good way to find FCs and lses recruiting on Gilgamesh would be to check it's server forum, found here: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/826-Gilgamesh
