Experiencing a huge amount of lag where it'll just spike for no reason, a few FC members are also experiencing it, ports are fine, but when i run a trace it jumps at a certain asianet connection, so out of curiosity i used a tunneling program and it's not happening on that...
I can't be the only person with this problem on the forums? Does anyone know if it's being addressed/fixed?

Same, Tonberry seems to have been hit with the lag monster..

Sounds like potential port congestion on their end (Asianet, not SE--unless it is happening at the peering interconnection). May want to submit a ticket through the portal including the data you've gathered through tracert and such. Or at least post it in the JP forums so that the team over there sees it (this is the NA/EU team).
Stutter lag is noticeable while watching other players mount run by. This is maybe the 2nd time it has happened in a month. Last time it only lasted a short time. Maybe SE should do server restarts on the weekends.
Maintenance cannot come soon enough tonight.
I am having quite a bit of lag over the last couple of days it all started on Saturday for me as well DR and DF stop and starts for a few seconds at a time followed by catch up animations there is spell and ability lag as well and quite often every skill on my bars will all black out for about 10 seconds before resuming.
Yesterday the 90k's began and were frequent all day along with all the other lag problems.
And today at the time of posting this the ability lag and the DR and DF issues mentioned earlier are still persisting which has made doing any instanced content extremely hard to do or in the cases of most primal battles impossible.
Maintenance cannot come soon enough.
I contacted support they said not one player, at all, from any japanese world, has reported this problem at all, not on forum or otherwise.
And that they would forward the information "to their superiors" and closed the chat.
Also I've already posted this to the japanese team.
