Before I start, This thread is not for petitions, not for protesting, or complaining.
please don`t turn this thread into a a debate or complaint thread on how its unfair that they are doing an item level sync.

This thread is to try and figure out if ilevel sync will be the same as level sync and what the BiS of for i80 ilevel sync and i90 will be.

A really good example of level Sync was made in the level 40 Tweaking thread by TaneshimaPopura:

So you're asking how does it pick substat? Say you have a Spear which has 12 ACC 11 Crit 10 Det. For that item lets say their substat cap is 15-16 range. The system will pick Det as the substat because it has the highest ilevel weight. If 2 substat of equal weighting occurs (ACC, Crit, Sk Spd, Sp Spd) the system will always pick Acc > Crit > Sk/Sp Spd.

Level 40 Bracket Twinking.

This being said, will Item level Sync work the same as Level Sync?

If it does then what kind of Tweaking will we need to do for an item level sync of 80?
To get us started I compiled a list of i80 gear for each Job.

As you already posted CT and ultima gear will be BiS.i think that goes without saying.i will however just use crafted ilvl70 gear.sure I lose some stats,but at least the gear will come materia slots.

Technically best accessories will be the crafted i90 new ones coming out. STR/DEX/VIT all on one ring. Enjoy as warriors come to take a crap on everyone :D

This is why I can't see how it will be iLVL 80 restricted, there is no gear choice for that ilevel, and what gear is available, has accuracy which is jsut as useless as morale for Frontlines.

Maybe we will see some new iLevel 80, no morale, no accuracy craftables?

This is likely to be close to what a Tank's left side BiS should be for Frontlines/i80 Wolf's Den (the i80 Divine armor and Ramuh weapons may change this):

Isnt that all over iLevel 80?

You do realize Materia slots are irrelevant in FL. Materia will not take affect. & the gear you are wearing will be synced to I80 your gear will not be replaced with CT gear or any other sets but adjusted accordingly to stat allocations. EX: 110 will take your stats and sync them with I80 allocation. Best idea is to itemize your gear accordingly.

As it is Ilvl sync and not lvl sync then there will be no gear twinking. The best gear to use will be which ever pieces are ilvl80+ and have the 2 secondary stats on that you want.

For example for DRG any pieces with crit/det making the wyrms mail i90 the best to use in the body slot etc once have reached the frontal accuracy cap of around 370ish
