World Transfer Service Questins

Wasn\\\\'t 100% sure where to post this, so apologies if this is the wrong section. I currently play on an EU server, but I\\\\'m from NA. I wanted to switch over to an NA server, but my concerns right now rest with Gil. So here\\\\'s my questions.

1) I have read two different amounts allowed. Is it 1 mill and 100k per retainer or 3 mill and 1mill per retainer?

2) could I use the moogle mail, in theory, to have a friend send me all my money in letters, transfer, and then open the letters and take the Gil?

3) is there anyway to check the current markets in a possible world I would transfer in?

4) how long, on average, does it take to complete the transfer?

5) sum up the difference between a normal server and a legacy server. I\\\\'ve tried shifting through threads but it\\\\'s hard to tell what\\\\'s accurate in a flame war.



My main concern rests with my Gil. I\\\\'ve spent a while accumulating it and I would rather it not just be gone. Thanks in advance for any answers. Apologies in advance. I don't know why my phone makes backslashes by every freaking apostrophe.
