No dungeon completion exp?

Title says it all. I get exp from mobs and bosses, but I do not get first-run through or dungeon completion exp. This makes leveling in dungeons not nearly as useful, especially lower level ones.

I'm posting here to see if anyone else is having this issue, of if by some cruel twist of fate it is just me =(

there is a bonus for being an adventurer in need

there is a bonus for ASSISTING some one's first run through the dungeon

there is a roulette bonus if you queue one of the roulettes.

I dont think there is an actually first completion bonus (per job) like there is with the guildhests.

leveling via dungeons is definitely useful. Especially if you are leveling a healer or a tank since the queues are short. and the xp from mobs in the dungeon will be better than out in the open world. If you are leveling a DPS, your best bet is to do levequests while waiting for your dungeon queue to pop.

I went from 40-50 BLM in 8 hours by doing coerthas/mor dhona levequests while queued for Dzemael Darkhold and Stone Vigil (i gave up on Aurum Vale looooong time ago)

You only get one time xp for your first job or someone else's first job.

It would make sense that each job get that, but SE....

They introduced it to guild heists and since one of the Patches you do get a first time clearance bonus per job, maybe they also will for regular dungeons if enough people ask for it.

If you aren't doing roulettes, you need to queue up for the highest level dungeon possible on your current job if you want to benefit from dungeon XP. The XP you get from kills even without a clear bonus is phenomenal. Don't forget, if you are going through as a lower level job you are also getting a +50% XP boost just for your current job being lower level than another one so there's a good chance that you are getting close to the same amount of XP anyway.

They added it to guildhests because they are incredibly pointless without it and no one did them because of it. Dungeon XP is still great even without the first time clear bonus.

Yeah, there is no real "dungeon complete" exp. Technically if you want to calculate exp/hour and NO ONE was doing roulette (which these days, someone is your group is always doing it), it makes more sense to quit the dungeon before the final boss. The exp/kill on trash mobs is great if it is of appropriately level. The boss exp is "not worth it" other than for saying "hey, look at me! I completed the dungeon!"
