Chocobo, in healing stance.

I didn't know where else to post this, so I'm posting here.
Anyone else here think that if a chocobo in healer stance is out, and you also have a pet, that it should heal not only you but the pet as well?

Also, did they ever say anything about other peoples pets, why aren't they target-able. (in the party list)

one of the last skills in the choco's healing tree is a AoE heal, mind you i have no intention of getting it cause I only solo with my choco anyway, but it is there :)
