Any word on when the Summer Festival starts?

I hope they go all out for this one. Also, I want to raid in a bikini, so I hope it's soon! >^.^<

I wish I knew. I was disappointed I couldn't get my swim suit yesterday lol.

IIRC they do not need to patch or do maintenance to activate the events. They just appear when SE decides to turn them on. So I'm hoping it'll be within days, not weeks. xD

I was seriously thinking it was going to be in 1.18. Then I reread the letter and noticed he didn't mention 1.18 until he was done talking about the event. That sneaky bastard. :P

If he doesn't switch it on today or this weekend, I might just die a little inside.

Spoke with some people in my LS. Most are assuming it will start the first week of August like FFXI's usually does.

I still hope it's sooner. How dare they tease us with those bikini pictures and then makes us wait 2 1/2 weeks. :(
