Everyone should meld out their Carpenter now

Why? Because chocobos stables are coming to FC housing. If SE decides to implement this in any way other than Carpenters crafting the stables, I'll be moderately upset, and significantly shocked.

I'm pretty sure you'll buy them at one of the npcs in the housing areas, like the permits etc

Don't you buy the Gardening plots as well?

Well, luckily furniture is impossible to HQ, and if HQ isn't your goal, then melding isn't worth your trouble other than meeting bare-minimum stat thresholds in order to start the synth.

i.e. don't waste your money melding CRP beyond the bare minimum

I have an idea this is what it'll be too. I wouldn't be surprised if it was 1mil+ to buy.

Or about 50k like the gardens are. I sincerely doubt that the chocobo kennel will cost as much as the housing permits cost.
