well im for one am happy about the DoM changes why?
Because im culinarian and this changes make you buy food ^.-
srly, if you get to eat the right Soup for your char. you could get a boost of 50 to around 100 MP pool increase, also. buy ethers, get your parties Tank to buy Breads for DEf +, so you dont waste to much mana healing.
Food has taken a more important role in 1.18 now that MP is a limited Resource.

Not only that but maybe people should actually rethink their party mechanics before jumping into battle. War classes have self-heals they can use to help out which I think is being greatly overlooked, in addition to food items.

Also, we can no longer get away with using a balanced attribute point spread across all stats now. Want to be a healer? We're going to have to dump a sizable chunk of your points into the MND stat for that extra mana and healing potency. We'll have to spend our points in the correct way for our chosen role, and IMO, that's the way it should be.
