Make the game internationally appealing

I know that there is still a long way till the game turns ptp, but some things really bothers me. It is impossible to buy this game here in Brazil, unless you buy it through ebay. The same for FFXI. I know that it is like this so europeans don't buy the north america version and vice-versa, but why limiting the selling for south america? And the paying methods are so unfriendly that I'll never be able to convice my friends to play with me. Recently a major MMORPG(I'm not sure if I can say the name, but is the most played in the world) was translated to portuguese, and new methods to pay the game was introduced as well. Here, the monthly fee will cost $15,00 BRL(thats around $7,00 USD). We don't have to use a international credit card,they will sell pre-paid cards, etc. It was such a chaos when they announced, that a major game website crashed.
I'm not asking to translate the game, that is hard, and expensive. But why not make it easier to buy and pay the monthly fees?
