Error 20524

Keep saying an Error has occur during update after i download with utorrent and replace old one with new.. anyone know why i keep getting this error?

i kept getting it after that actual game patcher finished and it did it repeatedly. i wound up restarting then opening the updater again and it opened then just fine.

I get the error every time i reach 99% on the updater...

Lol, I had to end up reinstalling. Took me under an hour to reinstall and patch with utorrent.

I think i will give up and use SE slow/ 4-12 hour method>.<

oh sorry to hear mine was when the updater started actually installing the files i got the crash. sorry haven't seen that one in the actual download.

I'm ashamed to admit it but I tried 4 free-to-play 3d MMO's and all of them downloaded and installed withing 30 minutes. Also all of them have less cumbersome login process.

All the patches also downloaded within that 30 mins I kept thinking "seriously" how the hell is XIV so behind on all aspects?!

This morning XIV downloaded in 4 hours while the installation alone lasted over 30minutes?

Just what is going on in here?

I don't know the size of the patch but surely it can't be bigger than entire games like Ethernal Saga Odyssey and Vindictus?!

Where is the game.ver file so I can try changing it as I currently have the same problem of it not installing and getting the 20524 error.
