Question about Server availability

Hey.
Today I tried to create a new character because I really wanted to start complexly fresh.

Now I have a question. My old Character is on Odin and naturally I wanted to get on Odin with my new char. However these Server restrictions are kind of confusing to me. So far I am trying now for hours to get a spot on Odin. In the beginning only 3 Server were available but after a few hours of trying more and more Server became available. Except one. Odin.

So I wondered if it has something to do with my old char still being on Odin since I get a different message when moving over the Sever name:

"You cannot create any more characters on this world. Please select another server"

Does this mean no matter how long I refresh and wait I will never be able to create my new Char on Odin. Or is it just a matter of time and luck to get on Odin again? If I can only have one Character per server it is kind of pointless to keep trying^^

What level of subscription are you currently on? The basic 'entry' level subscription only allows you to create one character per server for a maximum of eight characters. If you try creating another character on the same server your existing character is on, it will throw up that warning.

The only way around this is to either, delete your existing character to free up that server 'spot', or to upgrade your membership to the 'standard' level membership (which allows you to create up to 8 characters on the one server for a maximum 40 characters total - although why anyone would ever need that many characters I have no idea). You can upgrade your subscription in the Mogstation (be aware that the standard subscription is more expensive than the entry level subscription).

Yeah that was the problem. Oh man and I tried to refresh every 3 minutes hoping to get on Odin for now I think 2-3 hours^^
