Moving as repairing on my own bugged - unable to execute command while handling items

Steps:
When I attempted to repair via the repair sub-command, I happened to move my character at the same time, which both cancelled the repair and locked me into it, which prevented me from switching class, changing gear and attempting to repair via both the subcommand and a repair NPC. I got the error "Unable to execute command while handling items" when attempting to do any of the above. Zoning (from Ul'dah - Steps of Nald to Ul'dah - Steps of Thal) corrected the issue.
