2hrs waiting for a fate and a silver rating doesn't allow any progress in my book for my Animus. Its like getting punched in the stomach. Its not the fact that I received a silver rating and have to try again, its the fact that I have to wait another 2hrs in the same spot doing nothing. Waiting for fate spawns is not entertainment, it is just frustrating. Please SE, If anything just make them pop more often so we can all eventually get this stuff done.

I camped out for 6 FATES total (on my second book). The most I had to wait for was 2 hours. Just pick something else to do, leave the audio on and check out the screen when you hear FATE music. It's not frustrating at all, especially compared to atma hunting.

The same thing happened with Make it Rain in Outer La Noscea. An FC member told me the very moment it spawned. I teleported immediately. The 5-6 people who camped the FATE finished it before I was even halfway from Camp Overlook to the proper location.
The long story short is that it's horrible to actually see the FATE and be unable to get your credit. Whether it's because it finished that quickly or you're alone with 2 minutes left. The only way to ensure that you get your credit it to camp it.
