New Class/Job

Was really excited when I saw that Rogue was going to be the new class...Then i saw the job advancement was Ninja and lost all interest.

Ninja does not excite me in the least bit...Anyone else share this sentiment?

What's in a name? They called scholar "scholar", but he's really a fairy handler that holds a book. The name doesn't offer any description to its playstyle, so how would you know you wouldn't like ninja before you try it?

I was disappointed it wasn't Thief, but I wouldn't say I lost all interest by any stretch.

Ninja is the reason I quit Scholar as of today.

Did they say what type it was? I was hoping for tank, but I saw someone say dps? Or was that just a guess.

DPS, given how later in the Q&A they mentioned a new heal and tank class around the time the expansion rolls out.

As did every single other person when it comes out.

i was hoping it'd be thief or assassin instead of ninja, but i've still always been interested in rogue-like classes, so i'm sure i will still play it

Well guess I'll join the Naruto crowd, I still hope they bring a second job advancement (Thief) for those folks who don't wanna play Ninja with the other kids in the backyard.
I'll just refuse to call it Ninja but stick with Rogue because in my book Ninjas are not cool.

why the f, ninja is not cool? it was like coolest killer ever XD
