Looking for that "Good ol' Days" feeling!

Hello All!*

Im looking to find a good server and more importantly a great fc. I miss the good ole days of ffxi when i felt like my ls was like a family! Im looking for a friendly family style fc who likes to help and has a great fc community. Im really missing the feeling of helping others and feeling like part of a team. Also wanting a social talkative fc!*

Im loving ffxiv but all i have found recently is elitist fcs who wont even speak to me bc im not 50 or everyone telling me my lalafel warrior is a waste and i should have chose "x race"*

Looking for a good group to make friends and enjoy a stress free time in Eorzea! Willing to reroll on any server to join some new friends!*


PS. I mainly play tank classes and enjoy fun progressive end game raiding!

Check out Onslaught on Balmung. We're a pretty tight-knit community, and tend to make sure everyone knows each other before inviting into the FC. Recruitment goes LS first, and then FC.

Cactuar...Old School. Lot's of XI players and very friendly. Always happy to have new people.

How is cactuar population wise? also how is Fairie? Im looking to find some friends who play around the 8pm-12pm CST I know that ill get bored with the game if I have no one to play with or talk to. All of my old mmorpg friends are still on WoW and I just cant do that anymore.

I've never encountered racism of any kind in this game. Must be some ignorant people you've run in to, because the stat differences between races are so minute they literally don't matter at all. Literally any situation where a difference of a few points matters a well-placed materia meld will smooth out the bumps. Nobody should ever be telling you that you picked the wrong race for something.

Never encountered anyone like that on Excalibur. We've got tons of social FC's recruiting all the time, all classes, all races.

If you decide to come to Balmung, my FC, Blood of the Phoenix would be happy to have you, we don't have a fancy site or anything like that, but we're pretty much exactly what you described wanting. Everyone considers each other family, and spend our entire online time helping each other in one way or another, no one's ever going solo for anything (except solo duties =p). We're a small group at the moment, that's just starting to step into Binding Coil, with around 7-10 active members, and someones on pretty much at any time of the day.
