High End requirements
Hello,
I'm inquiring about how much requirement of time is required to get into the high end of this game. I'm typically only able to play at most 2 hours at a time and I'm curious if this is going to limit how far I will get in the game. I enjoy the game casually playing as I do but will my lack of hard time commitment limit how far I can go. I don't mind it taking months vs a hardcore's days/weeks. I just don't know if I will be able to do high end dungeons and gear with my limited time. Life/family come before game play.
Thanks in advance

Even with 2 hours a day you can do anything in the game, it will take much longer but I see that is not an issue to you. You may find a Free Company that fits your times and can join up with them to run things with at end game, if not there are always PUGs or making friends who fit your style of play.

Thanks I wasn't sure. I'll never be competitive, but I didn't know if I'd eventually get stuck and couldn't progress with limited game time like that. I know some games like this have ridiculous dungeons/raid stuff that requires stupid amount of continual hours to get past.

I only have about 4 hours a day most of the time, and have no issue hitting my tomestone cap. That alone will keep you well geared.

Endgame content does not take that long to do once you get it. Most dungeons take 30-60 minutes to complete and the Coil of Bahamut takes much less. The fights are much more intense and mechanic-heavy, on par with primal battles, but none are 4-hour-long endurance slogfests. You could easily handle all of the endgame content runs most players do within 90 minutes.
As for endgame gear, you will be unable to grind tomes of mythology like hardcore players, but you should have no problem capping soldiery every week if you really want to. Your capability to reach iLv.100+ will be the same (or close enough to) as any other player.

Thanks. That is a big relief I see all the stuff on hardcore raiding FCs and such I was worried.
