Fisher retainer

Do they ever get more than 1 silver shark per hour? It seems abysmally low.

Plus the 1 hour changes once you hit 50, level 1-30 is 40 minutes, level 31-40 is 50 minutes, level 41+ is still an hour

I'm getting 2 sharks with basic unmelded lvl20 gathering gear without any accessories (e.g. no earings, rings, bracelets).

Nope - silver sharks - I have 2 FSH Retainers and I'm grabing twice 2 silver sharks each hour now, have already almost full stack of them. Retainers needs to be lvl41+ for that (they're 45 now) but I've not even bothered to pimp their gear since lvl20 when I've crafted a full HQ set for both (minus accessories) as they are just OK to level up like this and I have already made full lvl50+ sets for both with some melds. So far most usefull pair of Retainers I have as they take out completely the RNG in getting specific fish plus no need to travel andno time spent to fish. Wish they'd add the Lomisan Anchovies though to the list as well ... I still do fish "manually" for the joyof it but when I need to craft something specific it's a great advantage to have those two fellas at hand.

You're probably talking about Hammerhead then. They start out at 2 per hour. Glad to see it does go up.

the fish retainers are so terrible, you can sit down for about 30 minutes and get 5x as much.
I just made my 3rd retainer be a battle class. it's a lot easier for me to fish up some sharks than run around killing things for boar and aldgoat skins :P
