PS4 Collector's Edition

Please help me
I transferred my PS3 account to PS4 then I updated my account via MOG STATION
I also own the physical copy of the PS4 collector's edition which I have redeemed
I used the code from MOG STATION and DL the game
Completed importing PS3 to PS4
After I logged in, it asks me to choose which product do I use to play.
I'm only given one option which is PS4 Collector's edition.
Next page it asked me to create new account. Warning and alert stated if I choose to create new account, I won't be able to use my PS3 account.
I clicked 'back', but there is no other option available to use my PS3 account.

Found similar case in reddit thread. In conclusion of that thread, they were suggesting to be able to play with my transferred account, I have to purchase the digital copy of collector edition. I did and I still cannot choose my transferred account

Anyone is having same issue and manage to resolve it?

Actually that's not an issue but working as intended - Square Enix stated even before launch that if you upgrade an existing PS3 version to the PS4 version for free, it basically invalidates your PS3 version (as it's effectively a replacement), meaning you can only play on the PS4 version from then on and cannot go back to the PS3 version. The only way to play the PS3 version after upgrading a PS3 FFXIV account to the PS4 version is to purchase a new PS3 version and add that to your account. There is no way around this I'm afraid.

What about playing my PS3 account in PC? Is that possible?

If I start new account using the physical copy Collector's edition, am I still using the same subscription in MOG STATION?

The problem is that you can only have 1 or the other - so you can only have the stand alone ps4 collectors edition you have or the transfered ps3 to ps4 version.
SE did state that the only way you could have the collectors edition for any ps3 transfered account is to buy the digital upgrade.
(this is basically the same as the ps3 as you could not have a normal ps3 account, buy a new collectors edition and use the code from that to upgrade. the code would only work if you set up a new account)

So unfortunately you now have a redundant ps4 collectors edition :(

The mistake was in getting two separate copies of the PS4 version. You have both the physical PS4 copy you bought separately and the transferred PS3->PS4 copy. Only one can be activated on a given account. You either should have skipped the PS3->PS4 transfer and just used the PS4 CE copy with your original account, or else have not installed the PS4 CE copy.

You may have to contact SE to fix the issue.

Just hope that they do want to fix it.

Because SE have already stated that once you upgrade via Mog Station you can't play on both consoles UNLESS you buy them both separately during the upgrading process. Since you have the retail copy of the game, that upgrading wasn't necessary to do and you can still play on both PS3 and PS4.
