Drain & Drain II

So I got DCed when I teleported to BW to test these abilities, has anyone else been able to test these ?

Are they worth having on the bar now ?

I would like to know it, too.
Kind of bummed me too, that Drain was pretty lame. :(

I am only rank 47 so I can't test Drain II yet. However, I just tried Drain 1 a bunch of times.

Versus Amalj'aa Drubber (rank 43) mobs:

You absorb 197 HP from the Amalj'aa drubber.
You absorb 217 HP from the Amalj'aa drubber.
You absorb 234 HP from the Amalj'aa drubber.
You absorb 238 HP from the Amalj'aa drubber.
You absorb 240 HP from the Amalj'aa drubber.
You absorb 240 HP from the Amalj'aa drubber.
You absorb 285 HP from the Amalj'aa drubber.
You absorb 314 HP from the Amalj'aa drubber.

thanks for the reply Ladara. Seems promising, but i will have to test Drain II later, no real time to log in this weekend.....

Drains are modified by Piety right ?

Still even if drain II does 400, with the 60 sec recast that does make it tough to make room for on my abilities bar

I don't have DrainII yet, but Drain is super effective against mob parties.

I love Drain II now. If I have to cast more than one or two Sacrifice III spells during a fight, I can toss in a Drain II to repair the loss very quickly. Plenty of room on my bar now that Con is the official unofficial WHM.

It's sort of good now that the potency is higher. It's a decent heal since it can still be AOEed.

I still don't bother with it, though, lol. It'll probably be more useful on leves.
