Account Payment Methods.

Hi.
I am sorry for my awful English beforehand.
I didn't know where to exactly post this thread but i tried to find the most relevant forum for my problem to be addressed.


I am from the middle east; From Kuwait to be exact & as most of us know that whenever it comes to servers, middle eastern countries usually gets listed under EU servers for any online games due to the ping is much better on such servers (Like Aion , Tera & Elsword for instance). Same goes for Africans too.

It's natural that when i created my own account on Square Enix it was immediately listed under EU countries accounts , but what i don't understand is that our payment methods is not actually the ones of EU. It's less.

We're only able to use credit cards (Which i don't really like nor trust to be honest) or Time Game Cards (Which i have been using for the last 5+ Months to get my game working) & some other bank account transfer methods which are just too risky in my opinion. As shown in this picture :

I buy time cards either online or through a store minutes away from where i live & only lately i discovered they were actually EU Time Game Cards only (You can't use such codes to NA/JP accounts at all) when i tried to buy one of my American friends a time code as a birthday gift. He simply couldn't apply it to his account because it gave him an error saying you can't use codes other than NA ones, i guess.
I couldn't buy it so i had to do it myself and i tried to add this code to his account and you guessed it. It didn't work.

Astonishingly i noticed something on the top right side of the account page ; It was crysta.
Something that i wasn't having on my account and i simply just didn't know that it existed in the first place.

I questioned my friend about this payment method and he said it was the way he was buying time for his game all along because he doesn't like using credit cards whatsoever.

As i was searching for this payment method that Square enix has and not actually given it to us (Middle eastern & African countries) & noticed even my EU friends actually have this virtual currency called Crysta.

I was baffled. Because my account is considered European yet i don't have this payment method ? what went wrong there ?

I am speaking on behalf of all my middle eastern and African friends that it's purely disappointing to see that Square Enix has every single possible payment method for all other countries (Mostly?) except for us while most of the middle eastern countries are actually a part of Asia & Africa together.

What's actually funny and ironic is that my American friend can actually go to his account , click buy crysta then choose Ultimate pay and what does he find here ?
He finds CashU ;A payment method i've been using on almost ALL of my online games to either use the cash shop or basically pay my months of playing.

Yes, that's Kuwait's flag and the supported payment methods according to my location using a North American account.

So basically , Square Enix supports our payment methods through CashU AND Ultimate game cards where we can find them almost EVERYWHERE around Middle east & Africa but simply just not want to have them included as an option for our accounts ?
Or is that an error coming from Square Enix ?

I can't buy fantasia nor buy anything from the optional services tab Square enix has. Including world transfer service.

It is so unfair and disappointing. I'd like to see this error fixed because it's something all of the Middle eastern and African countries would appreciate from Square Enix.

Either add CashU & Ultimate Game Cards into African & Middle eastern accounts OR give us the option to buy Crysta just like all of the North American & European accounts please because accounts cannot change their set up regions at all.

I wish i picked any other EU country so i won't have to run into this MASSIVE and stupid error made by SE but i didn't know what kind of harm that would do to other account privileges so i stuck with saying the truth that i am from Kuwait.

This needs to be looked at and fixed , please. Otherwise i would just stop subscribing from now on , i guess.(Yeah i know .. FFXIV/SE didn't lose anything from me stopping to subscribe but this is utterly annoying and disappointing)

I won't be having the opportunity to buy any of the cool stuff with crysta like everyone else could (Upgrading to collector's edition / Fantasias / World transfers) simply because CashU , our own payment method which is used in ALL EU & SEA located game servers i played is wrongly placed in NA category where it's not even looked at or even USED.

Please FIX THIS.
