Hello, I have been trying to log into the game after downloading the patch. After I hit start at the first screen when logging in, it will go to a Now Loading Screen. Instead of going to the Character Selection screen, it will give me an error message saying that it timed out. Does anybody have any idea why the game won't load?
Sorry if my post isn't clear. I'm terrible at explaining things clearly. >.<
Well... Half the people that were on when the servers first came back up have since dc'd and can't seem to stay logged in or even get back on. (i'm in the can't get back on camp) So... it's not just you. Might depend on where you are/logged out.
Seems to finally let me select the character. But now it won't let me log into the game world.
Hopefully everything will work itself out.
Please Final Fantasy XIV, let all of us play and see how much you've improved! Please! :(
EDIT: The characters are in two different zones. One is in Thanalan, the other is in Gridania. At first it wouldn't even let me select a character. It would time out before it even got there.
EDIT2: And now it's not letting me get to the Character selection screen anymore. >.<
EDIT3: And it also sometimes says the Lobby Connection Server has Timed Out when I didn't even click on anything. >.<
Update: It finally let me in!

Apologies for the trouble this has caused you! I'm glad to hear this was resolved for you. Regrettably, it does appear there was some login difficulties today. Please review the following notation from the Lodestone site!
