For people new to any dungeon/activity

Please don't hesitate to ask about something. I'm not necessarily talking about just boss mechanics, but rather anything that you noticed but don't know about. A lot of us you'll encounter aren't major jerks or on short fuses and are willing to help, though admittedly there are a number of those negative nancy types out there. If you encounter them, screw em... let them pop a vein over something like that.

I was doing Haukke Manor normal last night, in a quiet group mind you (I really didn't say anything the entire time), and after we finished the boss before the final, where you typically would use Return to get back to the entrance, I noticed we were missing someone. The guy hadn't said anything as we were killing stuff on the 2nd floor, so I just assumed and said for him to "use Return to get back to the entrance. we're up the staircase" and got an immediate "thanks". So yeah, not all of us are quick to snap and bite, even if we may not come off as friendly for not talking in a group.

Agreed 100%, don't be afraid to ask. Not all of us are jerks or Elitists. We were all new at some point. So I fail to understand why the people that do get upset with new people do it..anyways, back on topic. Like OP said, don't be afraid to ask. Many of us are here to help.
