Is Mining getting a little off?

I haven't see any Mining discussions here lately? Why?

Obviously you have to pick your battles, but I think that maybe people who would normally be talking about it have gone on to other quarry.
There was some real irritation about those star double-star nodes, so maybe they're cooling off?
