Hello!
My name is Sod Ransom and I'm a leader of the Free Company Chaos Theory. The reason I'm contacting you is that I am reaching out to all of the smaller Free Company's on Hyperion to inquire as to why they are small. If you are low in numbers because you desire it that way - be it that you are a family FC, or you like a small tight knit community, or simply that you are satisfied where you're at, then read on no more. Consider this a friendly hello, and it's great even to just connect with other FC's on our server. It makes our larger community that much stronger.
However, if the reason you are small is because you have had a slow drip of people leaving, quitting the game, and you are feeling trapped or frustrated that you've been unable to fill their departure, then I'd like to ask if you'd be interested in our Free Company.
We are a medium sized Rank 8 FC with about 50-60 active members. We are family friendly, with a very strong emphasis on building community. One appealing thing that we seem to have attracted many people with is that we like people to level at their own pace, and not feel pressured into participating in end game. We have lots of casual players, lots of hardcore players, lots of parents, and folks of all ages. Our Free Company has grounded itself upon a charter that ensures a safe home for MMO'ers, where they can do dungeons, run Primals, or whatever the content is, and not have to worry about being ridiculed, bullied, or mocked for not performing up to a certain standard.
We have been trying to think of more creative ways of recruiting. Even though we have a solid player base, we believe that it marks a healthy FC to always be looking on how to bring new people in. We have posts on the Lodestone, and other Final Fantasy communities, but those posts tend to be a drop in the ocean and quickly retreat off of the first page. There are so many great communities out there, and we like to think of ways to make us stand out, which is why we are contacting you this way.

If this is something that might tickle your fancy, but you're not sure about our community, we do have a linkshell that we use for recruiting purposes, and maybe you'd like to feel us out by joining that. That would give you a chance to get to know us without changing anything on your end. Send a /tell to either Sod Ransom, Teedub Trojanweed, or Vik Vicious, and we'll go ahead and send you an invite.
Thanks for reading through this!
See you in game,
Sod
