Service account and character question (might need staff answer)

Fairly certain I know the answer to this one already, but figured I'd ask the officials, as try as I might, I can't find an official answer anywhere.

My wife and I both play FFXIV on my PS4 using my S-E account. I'm on Cerberus, she's on Moogle.

She recently capped out her Monk, and today, finished the story.

She has just said "It's a shame I can't start my own S-E account, and then transfer my character to it, then I could install it on the PS3 we have upstairs, and we could play together."

So yeah, she's just saying this now, and not way back when, as she wasn't sure she'd stick with it.

Is there any chance this could be possible? I'm hedging on "no", but as I said, official response and all that.
