PS4 Controller configuration request
The PS4 version of this game has the rudimentary outline of a feature for customizing the way the controller is set up. The problem is that it doesn't offer any actual choices.
The four items that are by default set up on the X, circle, square, and triangle buttons have to be set to the X, circle, square, and triangle buttons. None can be removed and nothing else can go there. The two for R3 and L3 have to be set to R3 and L3. Again, they can neither be removed nor replaced, except that you can swap them with each other. The main menu, arguably the second most important and common single-button action (after the X button's select), has to be on the Options button (the most awkward difficult-to-reach button on the controller).
One of my biggest gripes on this is the touchpad, which can be configured for two button actions (clicking its left or right side), and yet cycling HUD components is the only action that can be assigned to either one of them.

Please, let us move all these around as we please. Let us, for example, remove auto-lock entirely, while setting the map to the right-side of the touchpad and the main menu to the square button. That's the arrangement I'd personally like. Other people have other preferences.
If you count the touchpad as two buttons (since it can be used that way) and ignore the Share button (since I think the PS4 OS itself has that reserved for screenshots/video captures) the PS4 controller has 17 buttons. Let us assign any of those 17 buttons to any of (at least) 17 actions, or to no action.
