Chat box auto-exit on hitting "Enter"

Maybe that was already answered (I couldn´t find it) - whenever I send a message over the chat system and hit "Enter", the game automatically leaves the chat box. However I continue to write something and of course different windows keep popping up on screen.

Is there a way to not leave the chat box after a message was send (and I mean not the direct chat system which is useless more or less in this case)? :confused:

And also stop having it automatically minimize the chat box as soon as we send a message if we'd had it maximized to fill most of the screen.
