I think all sanctuaries should have the same properties.
It's not a big deal, but its a small quality of life change that adds a bit of convenience for those that have to juggle between classes i.e. FATEs / Gathering.

I so agree, gathering and a fate pops nearby, switch to summoner or black Mage and have to sit and wait for all spells to reset, usually means I end up getting silver due to some spells taking forever.
hmm i wasn't aware of this. SO where can I change classes and not wait for skills to reset?
I always port to limsa, change classes no penalty, then port back, bit inconvenient
Yes, seems inconvenient to me as well to travel back to a town with a crystal and discover that I have the same cooldown upon changing classes as I do out where the mobs are. :/
I agree with the entirety of my being.
I also agree with this. I'll be out gathering and a fate pops and I want to switch to my main. Then the cooldown... tick, tick, tick.... silver or it's over. Not even sure why there has to be a penalty for changing jobs, when the big deal with FFXIV:ARR is to be able to change jobs on the fly.
You can also change with no penalty in the residential districts, but like it has been said, it would also make helping FC mates and friends on the fly with Fates and such.
Forget sanctuaries, it should be removed entirely. They've already got it in place that you can't change while in combat, when monsters leash they recover to full, and when you change classes all buffs drop.
