seems a few people have gotten this error today, including myself (looks to be a new one? never seen it before)
there is a thread here with people reporting it,here. so some information on it and if it is fixable would be highly appreciated. thank you.
Not sure why this is happening either, i thought it might be because i was accessing the PS4 through Vita remote play, but i guess not? Other games seem to be running fine, Trials, Infamous etc, so it seems to be an FFXIV specific issue. I upgraded to the collectors edition this morning, could that have caused it?
I am getting this error as well. I am on the ps4 and have the collectors edition. But have had it for a few months. 6 tries so far and still getting the error. Please fix soon.
I'm getting this error too, it took about 7 attempts to get to the login screen.
Update: after about 8 attempts I got in.
Got this error as well.....Got in after about 4-5 tries. Wish they would decouple FFXIV from PSN.

Getting it to on ps4 so far 20+ tries and no access
The error happens shortly after the screen for checking version. The login music begins to play on a black screen, then the error comes up. When you click ok, the PS4 then requests that you hit your PS button and close application. Restarting system does not affect this. Bit took 5 attempts before it loaded to login screen.
I'm in the UK and have just noticed that I can't access the ps4 store as it says under maintenance. I wonder if this may be part of the problem
