It's not the grind that bugs me, it's the lack of control. (ATMA RANT)

So ATMAs they stink.......lets just get that out the way.

People seem to hate them cause it is a grind fest, while that is a valid reason, that is not the reason I hate them.

I hate them cause you don't have control, you either get it or you don't and if you don't get it, the FATE is pointless, I don't get exp, I get a little gil and some seals, but at lvl 50 it is not worth it.

So I essentially just spend 2 hours of my day(I know a lot more for some people) doing essentially nothing, for the HOPE that it would drop. That is just a waste of my time, and I wont do that in a game I am paying for.

I don't care if it takes a month or even a year to get my atmas, just add something so I know that the time I am putting into the game means something.

I feel even if you are a casual or hardcore player, everyone wants to know they are making progress instead of just spinning their wheels all day, and that is how ATMAs are right now, just spinning my wheels.

Honestly, they could make it harder if they wanted, as long as I could track my progress.

I made a post a while back saying the same thing.
"Make it harder. Make it take longer. Make it difficult. Anything but RNG and FATEs"

Anyone who was for the current system always argued I wanted it to be easier despite me literally saying I didn't.
