Entry level healing.
I got to 50 Whm last night and put on the gear I saved up from gearing other jobs. I ended up sitting at 64.
Today after doing low level roulette as a warm up I decided to try expert roulette to start the gear grind.
My please not brayflox mantra failed repeatedly. Three times I got brayflox and all three times people ignored
me saying that I am a new 50.
Every time they just started a speed run, poorly regardless of my gear and died a pathetic death. Of course I was blamed and everyone left.
Then I got into halatali and had not issues what so ever.
People insta leave lost city, expect to sr brayflox without CDs or aggroing half the mobs even when they stop or, are fairly relaxed in halatali.
Since no one can fix this should I just spam halatali? At the rate this is going I'm tempted to spam brayflox just to let speed runners be lemmings.

Seems like the issue is not so much your healing skills, but your gear and the playerbase's expectations (even when you told them you're a new healer)... As such, Halatali grinding might not be a bad idea to get a bit more gear and to get more accustomed to the little things. Maybe give Bray a try again in a bit, when you have secured a i90/95 weapon and being decked out in other good enough gear, having made sure you at least somewhat know what to do.

It's their fault for expecting a speedrun when you're not ready for it. Just ignore them; your queues are fast anyway. I can't say I've met so many people who just left when I say I don't speedrun though. Almost all of them just run the dungeon at a slower rate - after all it is still quite short. Sorry to hear that.

Running Brayflox is demanding for a healer even at i77, so don't feel bad. :) I helped out a friend once and we just ended up doing slightly smaller pulls.

Don't worry the first time that I did Brayflox the tank took all the mobs and ran, with an item level of 75 I barely saved that tank ass that's why even now that I have better gear I still rather go to halatali because it looks like all the tanks expect a speed run in Brayflox.

depends what you mean when you say they were speedrunning imo, dutyfinder speedruns are rarely actual speedruns..
if he was taking 12 mobs he was probably being a bit optimistic, but 6&6 or 9&3 is totally fine we've done that at i59
